Main practices described with the term are homeopathy, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, reflexology, Ayurvedic therapies, chiropractic, herbal therapy, etc. Most of them Alternative Therapies are ancient techniques used by therapists of ancient cultures to treat illnesses. The best known of these are Hippocratic Medicine, Chinese Traditional Medicine, Reflexology, Acupuncture, etc. All alternative therapies belong to Holistic Treatments, ie they look at the cause, apart from the symptom, and they face the problem holistically, with a lot of respect and of course, always centered on the heal.
